My work creating digital art began in 1994 at Edmark Corporation with an illustration program called Painter, similar to Photoshop,
but with more capabilities for laying down digital "paint". The software for the personal-computer industry was heating up and Edmark offered me an opportunity to go in a different direction.
A spot in the digital art department became available and I got the job by submitting various
illustration and animation samples. Soon after, I became proficient
with other tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, DeBabelizer for processing files, QuarkXPress, and the eventually the Adobe Creative Suite.
